For the January 2025 cover of Good Housekeeping, Alison Hammond stepped into a beautifully polished new hair look wearing a custom-designed BLB wig.
A cover look filled with warmth and glamour
Alison is loved for the warmth, humour and unmistakable personality she brings to television. For her Good Housekeeping cover, the hair needed to feel equally radiant: full-bodied, softly glamorous and completely at home alongside her joyful presence.
BLB founder Stephanie Barber designed a 24-inch custom wig with cascading curls, dimensional colour and enough fullness to create a luxurious silhouette without overwhelming Alison’s features. The result was striking yet believable — polished for a national magazine cover while retaining the natural finish central to every BLB design.

The 13 × 6 lace frontal created space for a realistic hairline and versatile front styling. A carefully balanced 180% density gave the curls body and movement, while the longer length completed the soft, glamorous shape.
Beautifully installed by Carl Campbell
The finished wig was installed and styled by Carl Campbell, whose work brought the design seamlessly into the final cover look. His styling preserved the movement and volume of the hair while ensuring the finish remained elegant and effortless.
