Launched on 1 July 2025, BLB X Olivia McVeigh brought together ten custom-made wig designs and one shared belief: hair can transform how we express ourselves without ever defining who we are.

A collaboration rooted in understanding

BLB was founded by Stephanie Barber to create beautifully realistic human-hair wigs while offering a safe, understanding space for people experiencing every form of hair loss. Olivia McVeigh has built an equally meaningful connection with the hair-loss community through her honest advocacy, uplifting content and creative approach to wig styling.

The partnership grew from a genuine understanding of the emotional and social relationship people can have with hair. Both Stephanie and Olivia believe that hair loss deserves to be acknowledged without shame — and that choosing to wear a wig can be joyful, expressive and entirely personal.

Together, they created the BLB X Olivia McVeigh Collection: ten individual designs combining Olivia’s creative instinct with BLB’s specialist craftsmanship.

Ten designs made for individuality

No two people experience hair, beauty or hair loss in exactly the same way. The collection was designed to reflect that individuality through a considered range of colours, lengths, densities and silhouettes — from understated natural shades to bolder transformations.

Each wig is custom made to order, allowing the cap size and chosen specifications to be tailored to the wearer. This considered approach supports comfort, security and a natural finish while giving every client space to choose what feels most like them.

  • Ten exclusive designs: created with Olivia’s personal style and BLB’s signature realism.
  • Custom-made construction: produced to the client’s selected cap size and specifications.
  • A varied colour story: encompassing natural tones, dimensional blondes and expressive statement shades.
  • Premium human hair: selected for natural movement, longevity and styling versatility.
  • Freedom to personalise: with choices across length, density and construction.

Hair as expression, not definition

At the heart of this collaboration is a message that matters deeply to both BLB and Olivia: there is no single correct way to experience hair loss. Some people share their journey openly; others keep it private. Some choose to wear hair every day, while others move between wigs, head coverings and baldness. Every choice is valid.

The collection celebrates hair as a creative tool rather than a measure of beauty or identity. A wig can offer familiarity, experimentation, privacy, confidence or simply the pleasure of changing your look. It should always remain a choice.

A shared commitment to community

BLB X Olivia McVeigh was the first collaboration of its kind for BLB, but its importance extended beyond the ten finished designs. It represented two voices coming together to challenge stigma, encourage honest conversations and make the experience of finding hair feel more personal and supportive.

That purpose continues beyond the launch. The collection remains a celebration of choice, craftsmanship and the many different ways people choose to express themselves through hair.
