For Attitude’s winners cover, Becky Hill revealed a striking brunette transformation in a bespoke BLB wig inspired by the glamour and volume of the iconic 1990s supermodel blowout.
A completely new look
Known for her golden blonde hair, Becky’s brief offered the opportunity to explore a dramatically different identity without permanently changing her own colour. A bespoke wig allowed the team to move into rich brunette territory while protecting her natural hair and retaining complete control over the final shape.
The visual reference was the high-glamour blowout associated with 1990s supermodels: glossy, layered and full of movement. It needed height at the crown, beautifully shaped lengths and enough density to hold generous, camera-ready curls.
Designed for volume and movement
BLB created a 20-inch brunette design with subtle highlights placed throughout the hair to add dimension and prevent the colour from appearing flat under studio lighting. Layers were incorporated to support the silhouette and encourage the sweeping movement central to the brief.

Styled by Laura Chadwick
The finished hair was styled by award-winning session hairstylist Laura Chadwick. Laura transformed the custom BLB foundation into the full, polished blowout seen in the finished Attitude images, bringing together the rich colour, face-framing layers and signature volume.
The collaboration demonstrated exactly what a thoughtfully designed wig can offer on a shoot: a complete transformation, created without compromising the wearer’s natural hair and tailored precisely to the visual story.
The transformation
