To celebrate Millie Bobby Brown’s 22nd birthday, BLB stepped into a world of 18th-century French Rococo fantasy: powdered elegance, dramatic volume and unapologetic glamour.

A Rococo fantasy in hair
This creative tribute began with a single idea: to transform hair into theatre. Rather than recreating an everyday style, we wanted to explore the extravagance of the Rococo period through an editorial BLB lens — refined, feminine and powerful, but with enough scale and structure to feel completely unforgettable.
At the centre of the concept was Dolce, a luminous white-blonde BLB design selected for its length, density and ability to hold an architectural silhouette. The soft blonde colour gave the finished look its powdered, almost porcelain quality, while the generous density allowed the styling to build upwards and outwards without losing its polished finish.
Created with Peter Burkill
Bringing that vision to life meant collaborating with the exceptionally talented Peter Burkill. Through careful shaping, balance and placement, Peter transformed the wig into a sculptural Rococo creation filled with movement and detail.
Every curve was designed to command attention while remaining beautifully controlled. The finished piece feels theatrical without becoming costume-like: soft yet striking, regal yet modern.
The colour: luminous white blonde.
The finish: soft, sculptural and polished.
The presence: undeniable.
The BLB design
- Name: Dolce
- Cap size: Small
- Cap construction: 13 × 6 lace frontal
- Density: 200%
- Length: 26 inches
Underneath the artistry is the technical foundation that makes dramatic styling possible: a secure construction, a realistic hairline and enough carefully distributed density to support the finished silhouette.
More than a wig
This was not simply a styled wig. It was a moment of imagination: proof that beautifully made hair can become character, fashion and art while still beginning with the realism and craftsmanship at the heart of every BLB design.
